Operational Board
We Care is administered by a volunteer operational board from many different
regions and professions within the
corporation. The group is organized to
manage the basic process of raising awareness and financing, and assessing
employee needs in wake of disasters and distributing appropriate assistance.
The operational board meets on a
monthly basis and as required during times
of disaster recovery.
Volunteers are needed for many different activities including: fundraising,
membership drive, census taking, and
administrative assistance. Interested
in volunteering with We Care?
The operational board members serve one-year terms but many serve multiple
terms. Applications are accepted,
reviewed, and selected in February of each
year, terms run from the beginning of 2nd Quarter through the end of
the
following 1st Quarter (April-March).
